Explanation

This activity is used to view, enter, and maintain definitions of manufacturing tool types. All tool definitions in the Manufacturing Tool page must be linked to a tool type. This allows you to group tools by similar characteristics.

Use the Manufacturing Tool Types page to enter and maintain records of types of manufacturing tools.

• Specific tools can be grouped by tool type.
