This activity is used to modify an operation on a routing or a routing template in accordance with the values on a standard operation.
A routing operation or a routing template operation is modified in accordance with the values on a standard operation using the Modify Standard Operation dialog.

In the Modify Standard Operation dialog, select the standard operation to use and decide whether the standard operation should be copied or referenced. If you copy the standard operation, changing the standard operation in a later stage will not affect the copied instances. If you reference the standard operation, the routing/routing template operation will be a candidate for update in case any values on the standard operation are changed.
As a result of this activity, the system adjusts the routing/routing template operation in accordance with the chosen standard operation. If the standard operation should be referenced, the standard operation will become referenced on the routing/routing template operation and the routing/routing template operation will be a candidate for update in case any values on the the standard operation are changed.
