This activity is used to launch the Maintenance Planning Board (MPB). This enables you to perform work tasks and PM Work lists scheduling activities inside Maintenance Planning Board and You can then save the schedule directly to the database. The site you are working on is available for other users as well. Therefore the changes you make may conflict with changes made by others. Furthermore, you have the option to load the data as a background job which will improve the performance during scenarios with large data loads by delegating the processing to a background job.
The site must be set up to use the Maintenance Planning Board. This is done using the Basic Data for Maintenance Planning Board page.
