Activate Work Task Template

Explanation

Use this activity to manually activate a new work task template or work task template revision, to generate PM actions and to connect them to work orders and service contracts. A work task template is usually activated once all the preparation and planning have been performed on it.

Prerequisites

A work task template in the Preliminary status should exist in the system.

System Effects

• As a result of this activity, the work task template will be activated. 
• The previously active revision (if one exists) will be set to Obsolete. 
• You will be able to generate PM actions from the work task template, and connect it to the work orders, PM Programs, and service contracts.
