Connect Permit Type to Work Task Template

Explanation

Use this activity to connect one or more permit types to a work task template. Permit types ensure that the maintenance work in the facility can be performed under safe conditions.

An isolation can also be connected to the permit type. Isolations describe how a certain part of the facility should be shut down temporarily, so that the specified work can be carried out under safe conditions.

Prerequisites

• Permit types, isolation types and a connection between them must be defined in  Isolation Types, Permit Types and Allowed Connections Permit/Isolation page.
• Isolations should be registered in Isolation page.
• The work task template should not be active.

System Effects 

As a result of this activity, permit types and isolations (where applicable) are connected to the work task template.
