Enter Maintenance Triggers
Explanation
This activity is used to enter criteria for calendar, event, and
condition based PM action generation.
- Calendar - Enter values for Interval Unit and Calendar Interval.
- Event - Enter value for Event.
- Condition - Enter values for Test Point ID, Parameter ID, Unit of
Measure (UoM). If it is a cumulative parameter, enter a start value and
interval. It creates a maintenance line in the Maintenance Plan.
If the parameter is a limit value, enter minimum or maximum values. If the
parameter is a condition, enter a max rating value. When the
condition limits exceed, a work order is generated based on the PM action.
You can define values for a single generation criteria,
i.e., for either a calendar or an event or condition based generation, or a combination of
several generation criteria. Only one calendar
and event based triggers can be entered per work task template, but there can be
multiple condition triggers.
Prerequisites
- Events and date periods must have been defined in
Event page.
- Calendars must have been defined in Calendars page under
Work Time Calendar.
- The work task template must not have been connected to PM actions or
work orders.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the PM action generated
from the work task template will receive the generation criteria specified.
