Acknowledge DOP Alarm
Explanation
This activity is used to acknowledge a DOP alarm. This is an optional activity
mainly done for visibility and information purposes and it does not affect anything
else in the system.
To acknowledge a DOP alarm, click Acknowledge on
the DOP Alarms page, the Alarms tab
on the DOP Header page, or the Alarms tab
on the DOP Order page. Note that a DOP alarm
of the type Configuration with source Customer Order
Demand must be solved, it can’t be acknowledged.
Prerequisites
- This activity requires that a DOP alarm has been generated.
- If the DOP alarm is of the type Configuration with source
Demand Site Customer Order, it is an information DOP alarm
on the supply site. It indicates that a DOP alarm of the type Configuration
with source Customer Order Demand is expected to be created later in the
business flow. Therefore, if needed, it can be acknowledged before the new
DOP alarm is created.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, the status of the alarm changes from
the default value Not Acknowledged to Acknowledged. In
the field Acknowledged by on the DOP
Alarms page, the name of the user under which you are logged
in is displayed.
- For DOP alarms of type Configuration and source
Demand Site Customer Order, the DOP alarm line will be
removed from the list.
