This activity is used to view the similarities or differences between a DOP order with its components and the product structure for a part (BOM). You compare a level at the time. The comparison is made concerning part number and quantity per assembly.
In the Compare step in the assistant choose the comparator DOP order in the DOP Order section and the comparatee BOM structure in the Manufacturing Structure section. In the Compare step in the assistant the chosen DOP order and BOM structure are compared. You can view the result in the Results section.
This activity requires that a DOP order and a BOM structure are created.
As a result of this activity, the system enables you to view similarities and differences between a DOP order with components and a BOM structure.
