Create Code Part Value
Explanation
This activity is used to manually create code part values for the DOP header
for the code parts for which DOP pre-posting is defined.
In order to create code part values the the financial integration field
in the
Settings section on the Details
tab must be set to either Create values or Auto pre
posting. Different actions will occur depending on the value:

Create values: A code part value is created for the specific DOP header.

Auto pre posting: A code part value is created for the specific DOP header
and the code parts defined for the DOP are automatically set to this value.
To create code part values, click Costing then click
Create Code Part Value.
Prerequisites
This activity has the following prerequisites:
- The DOP pre-posting (M112) should be defined for specific code parts.
- The function for the specified code part should be set to No Function
in the Code Part Function field on the
Define Code String page.
- The DOP ID may not be longer than 6 characters.
- The financial integration field
in the
Settings section on the Details
tab must be set to either Create values or Auto
pre posting.
System Effects
As a result of this activity:
- Due to the value in the financial integration field, code part values
will manually be created for the defined code parts.
- The code part values are of the type DOPXX, where XX is the DOP ID.
- The specific
DOP header will be marked with Code Part Value Created.
