Generate Line Schedule

Explanation

Use this function to generate line schedules for a specific part and line. Line schedules can also be generated via MRP, Master Scheduling, or manually by entering individual schedule lines. By entering parameters for the schedule quantities and dates, you can quickly generate a basic line schedule for the part.

Prerequisites

• A production line with an assigned line calendar must be defined.
• The part must be defined for the production line before a production schedule can be created.
• The part must have schedule horizons defined.
• The part must be of one of the following part types: Manufactured, Manufactured Recipe or Purchased.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the system creates a line schedule based on the parameters you specified.
