Enter Norm Types

Explanation

This activity is used to define basic data for norm types. A norm type is an identification used to collect a measurement of quality for a unit of measure, such as length, width or height. Norm types allow you to review results of a specific norm type's quality. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person. All norm types are user-defined.

To create a new norm type, click the new command, enter data and click Save.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• Units of measure that are used in application must have been defined in the Units of Measure page.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• A norm type will be created that can be used when creating analysis types.
• Quality information can be collected on specific norm types.
