Add Custom Attributes to CRM- and SRM-panel

Explanation

This activity is used to add custom fields to the CRM/SRM-panel. If a custom attribute has been added for e.g. business opportunity, it can be included in the field configuration for CRM-panel. Custom attributes can be added to details pages and dialogs in the CRM-panel and to details pages in the SRM-panel. Use Page Designer to configure the panel to show a custom attribute in a details page. To configure the panel to show a custom attribute in a dialog, select the dialog to update in the Field Configuration page.

Note: Custom Attribute support in dialogs is limited to entities related to Business Activity, Business Opportunity, Lead, Account and Contact. Also, custom attributes of type Multi-Choice or Boolean cannot be used in the CRM-panel dialogs.

Prerequisites

The custom attribute must have been added and published for the relevant entity.

System Effects

If the custom attribute is added and indicated as visible for e.g. business opportunity, it will be included in the Create Opportunity page in the CRM-panel.
