This activity is used to view, modify, or enter information about representative
group. Representatives are the persons who work for the organization and are
responsible for different steps of the sales process. Representatives are used
to create representative groups. You can create more than one representative
group and enter descriptions for each of them. A single representative group
may comprise of one or more representatives. On business objects, representative
group is used to add representatives.
It is possible to set prefixes
for the representative group. Prefix is used in number/ID generation based on
the main representative. Prefixes can be set for business opportunity, business
activity, marketing campaign and business lead. A prefix can be of maximum two
characters.
A representative must have been created.
A representative group is created and available for use in objects such as business opportunity.
