Add new Scope to Quotation

Explanation

Use this activity to add a new Scope to a Request Quotation. The scopes added to a Request Quotation will automatically be added to the related Request.

If a customer requests a quote for additional services, it is possible to add a new scope to an already existing Request Quotation.

You can select a pre-defined Service that fulfills the customer requirement.

If the customers Reported Item is known (Model or Object), you can specify the Service Item details and select any active Contracts that cover that Reported Item.

Prerequisites

• The Request Quotation must be created for the Request.
• The Request Quotation must be in status New.
• The Service should be defined in Service Catalog.
• If needed, the Reported Item (Model or Object) can be defined.
• If needed, the Request Contracts should be defined with a Contract Line with a related Price Rule, that covers the specified Reported Item.

System Effects

• A new Scope for the Request and Request Quotation will be created.
