Enter Miscellaneous Resource Allocations
Explanation
Perform this activity to create Miscellaneous Resource Allocations (misc.
allocations) for individual resources (persons, tool/equipment, machines, and
crews) to reflect planned absences and non-available time. This will create
resource allocations against the resource that can be viewed in the
Resource Analysis page.
The Misc. Allocation Category is mandatory and can be of
type Absence and Non-Absence. It is possible to define a location for the
misc. allocation. Locations are created in the
Location page.
The misc.
resource allocations are created without any company or site associated and
there is no integration to Human Capital Management (HCM) solution.
Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Statuses
- Pending Approval:
The misc. allocation is created and awaiting approval.
Modifications (edit/delete) can be performed in this status.
- Approved:
The misc. allocation is approved, and no modifications
can be performed in this status. An approved misc. allocation can be
demoted to status Pending Approval using the Remove Approval
command in the Miscellaneous Resource Allocations
page.
- Canceled:
The misc. allocation is canceled, and no modifications
can be performed in this status. When a misc. allocation is canceled, it
can no longer be promoted or demoted to other statuses.
Prerequisites
- A predefined Miscellaneous Resource Allocation Category must exist.
System Effects
- A Miscellaneous Resource Allocation of typ absence or non-avalible time
is created against the resource.
