A shipment order can be used for internal goods movement between sites and/or remote warehouses. Movement of goods can be both intra-site and inter-site.
A shipment order is built in two levels: an order header and one or more order lines. The first step in creating a new shipment order is to set up the shipment order header.
Default values can be automatically be fetched at order entry by defining them in the Site/Shipment Management tab, the Supply Chain Matrix for Site page and Warehouse Navigator/Remote Warehouse tab (accessible for a warehouse defined as Remote). See respective field description for details about the fetching hierarchy.

A shipment order header will be created in status Planned.
