Define Location Type

Explanation

This activity is used to define a Location Type. Each Location Type can be set up with information about

Add Time Minutes - The time specified will be added to the travel duration for the job.
Lack of Coverage - Lack of Coverage is used for locations where there is bad or no connectivity available.
Do on Location Incentive - Do on Location Incentive determines how work at the same location or locality should be scheduled.
Duration Overhead - Specifies the amount of time (in minutes) to be added to the expected duration of the first job at a location or locality.
Availability Pattern - An availability pattern is used to restrict the time the location is considered available.

When the Location Type is associated with a Location, the default information will be inherited, but can be adjusted for each Location.

To use Availability Patterns, at least on pattern must have been defined

As a result of this activity, location types are defined. These location types can be connected to locations.
