View Scheduled Plan
Explanation
This activity is used to view the scheduled plan for a Work Task. Once
the Work Task Activities which are transferred to automatic scheduling are
scheduled, an Allocation Plan is returned to IFS Cloud. It is possible to
assign the Work Task Activity to the suggested resource. Note: If scheduling is done
using
the Schedule Dispatch Service (DSP), the allocated Work Task Activities will
be assigned (or unassigned) automatically, based on the rules defined for
the dispatch service. Work Tasks that are
committed (assigned) by the DSP will be returned in status Assigned and a
Work
Assignment will be created for the suggested resource.
The scheduled plan will include the following data as received from the Scheduling
Engine:
- The Activity Identification from Scheduling.
- The identification of the Dataset and the Dataset Description.
- Plan ID describing which broadcast updated the record last.
- The date for when the scheduled plan was sent from scheduling.
- The suggested start and end dates for the work task activities (referred
to as activity in the automatic scheduling workbench).
- Whether the Work Task Activity is fixed to the given start date and
time.
- The Duration (in hours) of the Work Task Activity.
- The identity of the resource who is to execute the work, if this resource
is set as a fixed resource for the work task resource demand. When a Work
Task Activity is transferred with a Work Assignment already created, this
resource is transferred as committed to the Scheduling Engine.
- The identity of the resource who is suggested to be allocated to the
Work Task.
- The status of the scheduled Work Task Activity.
- The Scheduling Base Value.
- The Primary Scheduling SLA Type that is assigned to the Work Task.
- The earliest time and/or the latest time the work task can be scheduled
to start in order to meet the requirements of the Primary Scheduling SLA
Type.
- The Secondary Scheduling SLA Type that is assigned to the Work Task.
- The earliest time and/or the latest time the work task can be scheduled
to start in order to meet the requirements of the Secondary Scheduling
SLA Type.
- If an allocation record in a broadcast fails, the Output
Status on the related scheduled work task record will be set to
Failed and the reason for the failure will be displayed in the
Error Text field.
Prerequisites
To perform this activity, the work task must have been scheduled in the Scheduling
Engine and an allocation plan must have been returned for it. If the work task
could not be scheduled, an allocation will not be returned and the scheduling
status will be set to Unallocated.
The Output Status and Error Text will only be set if the Scheduling
Configuration Parameter Enable Broadcast
Error Handling is set to Yes.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, it is possible to review the scheduled
activities from IFS Cloud.
