Crew Reporting
Explanation
There are two ways of reporting time,
- Crew Reporting
- You can report time either by Clock in on the Crew assignment or by
manual reporting time on a Crew Resource.
- Reporting time on the Crew Group level is not allowed, as it
would prevent the creation of individual transactions.
- Individual Reporting
- You can report time manually for each individual crew member.
- It is not possible to use Clocking option.
The Member deviations are used to get the actual Crew members who have
been working at that particular time period.
- Time report via Clock in - Clock out
- This creates a time report line for the Crew with a total time
duration.
- For the Crew members, the time is distributed, taking the
member deviations into account.
- Time report manually
- This creates a time report line for both the Crew and Crew
members.
- It considers member deviations on that particular
transaction date.
- The Duration is the same for Crew and Crew members.
When editing Crew reporting,
- You can change the date and duration but it will not change
anything on the Crew members.
- You can change the Resource ID which will change to new Crew and
Crew members.
Prerequisites
- The valid Site Settings for the Crew Resource must be defined on the
Maintenance/Service page.
- A Primary Parent Group should be defined and reporting time without
a Crew Group is not allowed.
System Effects
- A Crew time report line with a nested table, with the individual
time reports, is created on the Time Reports tab.
- A Crew report creates a Work Task Transaction (without an accounting
information) with
(Transaction Type = "Collective").
- Individual Work Task Transactions (with appropriate accounting
information) is created for each Crew member.
