Define Output Type

Explanation

Use this activity to enter output types and connect existing documents to output types. This task should be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person and is mandatory if text is to be printed on any document.

Output type is a collective term for the documents it comprises, it is used to methodically group the documents. It is a collective term for all the documents it contains. Sales documentation is an example of an output type, this comprises many other documents like Customer Order Confirmation, Pick List Customer Order, etc. You can combine predefined documents with different output types.
