This activity is used to edit an SLA Commitment. This can be done by opening the Edit SLA Commitment assistant or from the SLA Commitment page.
Once an SLA Commitment has been created it can also be edited. There are restrictions to what is possible to edit that is dependent on the status of the SLA Commitment.
If the status is Planned
Editing is possible without any restrictions. This can be done from the Edit SLA Commitment assistant or from the SLA Commitment page.
If the status is Active
The due date, commitment description, fulfillment entity, fulfillment entity reference, fulfillment event and commitment type / customer commitment can be edited using the Edit SLA Commitment assistant from the SLA tabs on Request Details, Work Task - Service, Work Task - Scheduling and Allocation and Work Task - Execution and Reporting pages as well as directly on the SLA Commitment page.
The due date originally calculated when the SLA Commitment was activated will be stored and cannot be edited.
If the status is Closed
It is possible to edit the commitment description, add exceeded reason and change the commitment type from the SLA Commitment page.
If the status is Cancelled
All editing is restricted.
