Load Products to Order Template

Explanation

Use this activity to insert products & required quantities into the Order Template using an external file or using an existing Order Template. This activity is intended for a B2B user acting as a B2B customer.

Perform this activity from the lobby page Order Management for Customers and use the Lobby Element: Order Templates. Or else use the Order Template page from the navigator. Use Load Products button to open Load Products dialog which provides the facility to upload an external file and select an order template.

Notes:

• It is possible to load products using an existing Order Template, using an external file or using both options at once.
• It is possible to select only one Order Template and upload only one external file at a time.
• Several records can be inserted per part and the quantities in those records can be aggregated later using the Aggregate Product Quantities command.
• Only the Comma-separated Value (CSV) formatted files are allowed to be uploaded.
• Upload a CSV file with two columns as shown bellow. It is possible to use Part No, Your Part No or GTIN as the identifier.

Prerequisites

• Successfully initiated Order Template should exist to perform this activity.
• In the Customer page, the B2B option must be enabled for the appropriate customer.
• The user must have the appropriate B2B Customer as default customer, set up in B2B User – Customer page.
• The user must have been set up with an appropriate default coordinator in Sites per User page.

System Effects

New products will be added into the Order Template.

Parts & quantities will be validated while loading them into the system.
