Collect Data for Writeback
Explanation
Use this activity to view the collected data for Writeback before writing them back to IFS Cloud.
If the requirement is to Writeback only a part of the collected data, then this activity can be used to collect the
data and then to select the rows which should be written back.
To perform this -
- Execute a writeback enabled report and change the figures as required in the report mode.
- Select the checkbox Review Collected Data and click
Writeback
in the Business Reporter Ribbon.
Note: When you click on writeback to write back the data, the data collected for writeback will be displayed in the Document Actions pane. - Alternatively, in the Writeback tab of the Document Actions pane, click on Get Modified or Get All to collect the data for writeback. The collected data will be shown in the Document Actions pane.
Prerequisites
Make sure to select a Business Reporter report where Writeback has been enabled in the report design. Required/preferred writeback settings and options have to be set in design mode.
