This activity is used to enable the Proceed at Risk option for the non routine maintenance events. By enabling this option, it becomes possible to release the non routine event and proceed with the work without waiting for commercial approval from the customer for the non routine quotation.
To enable the Proceed at Risk option, select the respective non routine event from the Non Routines for Approval page and select the Change Proceed at Risk option. It is also possible to use the Edit option and enable the Proceed at Risk toggle switch in the Non Routines for Approval page.
If a non routine event is released by enabling the Proceed at Risk option while the commercial approval process is still in progress, the non routine work will not be invoiced to the customer until commercial approval is approved. Therefore, after receiving customer approval for the non routine quotation, the Proceed at Risk option should be disabled.
Note: If an integrated non routine quotation flow is not used, or customer approval is not required to proceed with non routines, it is possible to enable the Proceed at Risk option and release the non routine even without creating a non routine quotation. In this case, work performed on those non routines will be invoiced based on the resources used.
