Enter Crew Leader Deviation

Explanation

Perform this activity to enter deviations against the planned crew leaders. Crew leaders can deviate by either be included or excluded as the planned leader. If a deviation is added as Deviation Type 'Excluded', it means that the current planned leader will not be the leader between the dates specified in for the deviation. If one is added as Deviation Type 'Included', it means that a the resource defined for the deviation will act as the planned crew leader during the specified period.

If a Crew Leader has been excluded from the crew membership, a leader deviation will automatically be created.

Prerequisites

• A Resource of Resource Type 'Person' must exists.
• Leader Deviation can only be created for Person Resources.
• To add a Leader Deviation of Deviation Type 'Exclude', the excluded leader should have a planned leadership for the considered period.
• To add a Leader Deviation of Deviation Type 'Include', the included leader should have a planned membership for the considered period. If a planned membership does not exist for the considered period, a record will be automatically created including Person to the Crew as a member deviation of Deviation Type 'Include'.

System Effects

As a result, deviations for the planned leaders in a crew will be added.
