Use this activity to enter new Heavy Maintenance Contract Lines.
New contract lines can be defined using the New Heavy Maintenance Contract Line assistant accessible from the New command in the Heavy Maintenance Contract/Contract Lines tab. From the assistant enter a brief description and specify a time period for which the contract line is valid. Relevant contract group for the new contract line can be selected from the contract group filed. Also, a commercial rule can be connected to the contract line if required.
Note: A commercial rule can be connected to a contract line from the Heavy Maintenance Contract Line page which is accessible from the tree navigator. Additionally, new contract specific contract rules can be defined on the Heavy Maintenance Contract Line/ Contract Lines tab. For more information on how to define commercial rules, refer the activity Define Commercial Rule.
Enable the Primary Line option if the created contract line is to be used as the primary contract line when loading the work scope.
A new heavy maintenance Contract Line will be created.
