Create Remanufacturing Shop Order Requisition Manually
Explanation
Use this activity to manually enter a remanufacturing shop order
requisition.
To create a remanufacturing requisition manually, create a new record and
enter below values:
- Enter the
desired part and quantity to remanufacture.
- Select Remanufacturing in the Requisition
Type drop-down.
- Enter the date when the remanufactured parts should be available in
stock in the Due Date field.
Prerequisites
- The part being requisitioned must exist as an inventory part with a
remanufacturing structure header.
System Effects
- The system creates a shop order requisition with Requisition
Type set to Remanufacturing.
From this requisition, you can create a shop order.
- The system automatically
generates the requisition number and suggested start date.
The start date is calculated as the entered due date minus the part lead
time for the quantity entered. If Plan Manufacturing Supply on Due
Date is enabled for the part, the lead time is compressed with one
day since the remanufacturing is planned to be finished on the same date
as the due date.
- If the structure alternate used on the requisition has direct supply
with Supply Qty per Unit > 0 on the Product
Structure/Direct Supply page defined, pegged shop order
requisition(s) will be created according to the defined Part,
Supply Type, Supply Qty per Unit and
Lead Time Offset.
