Use this activity to schedule a subset ("Selective") of shop orders in MSO Manual scheduling mode.
This activity is not applicable for MSO automatic scheduling mode, as MSO creates finite schedules for shop orders when they are created or modified.

In this activity, only the selected shop orders are scheduled. Non-selected shop orders, irrespective of their scheduling status, will not be subjected to the scheduling process.
The Selective finite schedule can be executed on any set of shop orders as per the planner's choice. This set could be a shop order, shop orders, shop orders in a work center, production line, or department. Manufacturing visual planning chart segments that represent any specific groups can be scheduled selectively using this activity. Shop Order operation scheduling Gantt/ shop order operation objects also have this option for selective scheduling.
As a result of this activity, a selective finite schedule is created and saved back to the database. The order of execution (schedule start and finish times) will be set. Upon loading to shop floor workbench, these operations will be visible to shop floor workers in the scheduled order for them to execute.
