This activity is used to update setup times of setup matrices for work centers and characteristic codes in user allowed sites. The setup matrices are used in Manufacturing Scheduling Optimization (MSO) and IFS/Advanced Planning Board (APB) for constraint based scheduling. With this activity, it is possible to change the setup times for the combinations of From and To Characteristic Values.
This activity requires the existence of a discrete characteristic code and
its option values.
The characteristic codes should have been set as scheduling
constraints and they should be enabled to use in setup matrices on
the work center characteristic tab.
The setup time for the combination of from/to characteristic values will be saved and used in scheduling.
