Define GPS Tracking

Explanation

This activity is used to define GPS tracking settings and how the locations will be handled in the mobile device.

A mobile user must be defined in the system
The Application in Solution Manager/Mobile Apps / Administration / Applications has GPS Allowed and GPS Enabled set to Yes
The Installed App Details for the mobile user has GPS Enabled set to Yes for any active devices
The Application Parameter LOCATION_TRACKING_INTERVAL_MIN is set (default: 10 min)
Location services are enabled on the mobile device.
For iOS only: Application Parameter ENABLE_BACKGROUND_TRACKING is set to Yes

Device locations are updated correctly according to the interval set up or for each status change and can be seen on the Device Locations screen in IFS Cloud Web client.
