Include or Exclude in Cash Plan

Explanation

This activity updates the values from a Project Cash Forecast directly into the connected cash plan snapshot.

Include in Cash Plan

For each project, one Project Cash Forecast in Approved status connected to a Cash Plan Snapshot can be included in the Cash Plan. When the command Included in Cash Plan is executed, the Project Cash Forecast version will be incorporated as a source for the Cash Plan and the Included in Cash Plan indicator on the Project Cash Forecast is automatically set to Yes.

If Included in Cash Plan was set to Yes for an existing project cash forecast with the same combination of project and cash plan snapshot, it will be set to No and the Exclude from Cash Plan command automatically executed, when it is enabled for the new forecast version.

Exclude from Cash Plan

The Exclude from Cash Plan command will remove the values for the Project Cash Forecast connected to the Cash Plan Snapshot and the Included in Cash Plan indicator will be updated from Yes to No. This command can be executed manually but will also be executed automatically if the status of the Cash Forecast is changed from Approved to another status.

Prerequisites

A Project Cash Forecast, in Approved status and connected to a Cash Plan Snapshot, is required.

System Effects

If the Included in Cash Plan indicator on the Project Cash Forecast is set to Yes, the information from sources included in the Project Cash Forecast will be updated directly into the connected Cash Plan Snapshot.
If the Included in Cash Plan indicator on the Project Cash Forecast is set to No, the information from sources included in the Project Cash Forecast will be removed from the connected Cash Plan Snapshot.
If the status of a Project Cash Forecast included in cash plan is changed from Approved status, it is automatically excluded from the Cash Plan, and the Included in Cash Plan indictor is automatically set to No.
