Create Analysis for Production Schedule Part

Explanation

This activity is used to create one or more analyses for both the main product and its by-products connected to a production schedule. You may want to create more than one analysis to fulfill a particular sample frequency. For example, if you are producing the parts over a five-hour period and want to have a sample frequency of once per hour, you can create five analyses. You can manually select which analyses should be created for the produced parts connected to several routing operation numbers.

A new analysis connected to the specific production schedule is created using the Create Analysis - Production Schedule assistant that can be accessed from several pages:

In this assistant, you can decide which analyses to create and view the information that will be transferred to the Analysis Result page upon creating the analysis. Select the produced parts connected with routing operation numbers for which you would like to create an analysis by enabling the Selected setting in the Operations group. Only the routing operation numbers connected with your control plan manufacturing for the specific routings will be displayed. Enter the number of analyses to be created in the No of Analysis field in the Parameters section. You can enable Print Analysis Report if you want to print the analysis result. When you click OK, the system creates one or more analyses and provides you with the option to review the overview of the created analyses. If you click Yes, the Production Schedule Analyses page will be displayed.

Note: It is not possible to create analysis for lot tracked and/or serial tracked by-products.
