Define Control Plan Header
Explanation
Each control plan consists of two levels: a header and one or more control
plan lines. This activity is used to create a new control plan header.
There are three types of control plans:
-
Control Plan
Manufacturing – used when performing inspection of shop order or production
schedule parts.
-
Control Plan
Purchasing – used when performing inspection of purchase order parts.
-
Control Plan
Inventory – used when performing inspection of inventory parts in stock.
To create a new control plan header click New, enter the
header information and click Save.
- If control plan lines defined as Categorical should be defined, select
a value in the Category Entry Type field.
- If Receipt Not Allowed is enabled a
control plan manufacturing header, all analyses connected to the shop order
for the main product, by-products or disassembly components, need to be
confirmed, and all time triggers need to be stopped in order to receive any
of the parts.
-
If
Receipt Not Allowed is
enabled for a control plan purchasing header, all analyses connected to
the purchase order receipt need to be confirmed, and all time triggers need
to be stopped in order to receive parts.
- For
control plan inventory Use Catch UoM can be enabled.
Prerequisites

in the Inventory Part page. The part must have
