Send E-Mail

Explanation

This activity is used to create an e-mail from a business activity or a business opportunity. Click the mail icon in the Business Activity or Business Opportunity page header to open the Send E-Mail dialog. Contacts and Representatives from the opportunity or activity are listed as recipients in the Send E-Mail dialog. Contacts are shown as To recipients and representatives are shown as Cc recipients by default. Select the contacts to add to the mail and click Send to Outlook to open a new e-mail in Outlook. The activity subject or the opportunity description is added as the subject. The e-mail addresses of the contacts and representatives are added to the recipient list.

If the Include attached documents when sending E-Mail from IFS Cloud Web in CRM/SRM Panel Settings page is active, the Attached Documents list is shown in the Send E-Mail dialog. Documents attached to the opportunity or activity are listed and you can select which documents to attach to the e-mail. Click Send to Outlook to open a new e-mail in Outlook. The Outlook Add-in CRM-panel is used to attach the documents to the e-mail. To open the CRM-panel automatically when a new e-mail is created, you can pin the CRM-panel. Open the CRM-panel from a new e-mail and click the pin icon.

Compose the e-mail and optionally add additional recipients or attachments before sending the e-mail. To create a business mail and connect the mail to the activity or opportunity, use Send and Save in the CRM-Panel.

You can also send an e-mail to individual contacts from the contacts list in different pages. Click the mail icon next to the contact's e-mail address. When the e-mail is created from a selected contact, the Send E-Mail dialog is not used. Instead, the e-mail opens directly in Outlook. Write the e-mail message and click Send or use Send and Save in the CRM-Panel to save the mail as a business mail.
