Explanation
This activity is used to add Request Work Tasks to a Request
Scope. At creation, the Request Work Task will receive the status New.
Once selected the relevant Request Scope, it is possible to either add a
Request Work Task manually or from a Standard Task. If the manual option is
selected, it is mandatory to enter a description the Request Work Task. It is
also possible to add Work Steps, Resources and Materials.
If the Request Task is created from a Standard task, a
Standard Task has to be selected from the Standard Task list.
Prerequisites
- Sites for Sales, Logistics and Time Zone (can be the same), and a Service
Organization must be defined and connected to each other.
- The Request Scope must have the status New,
Released, Started or Completed.
- Standard Tasks can be defined on the Standard Task
page.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, Request Work Tasks with the status
New will be connected to the Request Scope.
- The scheduling dataset will be fetched from the service delivery
unit or the service organization if one is available,
with priority to the service delivery unit.
- If the Request has the status New, Released
or Started, the status will remain.
- If the Request has the status Completed, it will be
changed to Started.
