Change Service Delivery Unit in Request

Explanation

Use this activity to add or modify the Service delivery Unit of a Request. Modification of the Request can be done when there is a change in the ownership of the Request.

If you change the Service Delivery Unit in your request, it will be applied to the Scopes and Tasks. If you change the Service Delivery Unit in the Request Scope, it will be applied to to the Tasks as well.

Prerequisites

• The Request must be in the "New" status.

System Effects

After completing this activity,

• The Request's Service Delivery Unit will be updated.
• If the Service Delivery Unit has access groups, the Access Groups of the Request will be updated accordingly. Note that the existing Access Groups of the Request will remain unchanged
