Change Service Delivery Unit

Explanation

Use this activity to add or modify the Service delivery Unit of a Request Work Task. Modification of the Request Work Task can be done when there is a change in the ownership of the Request Work Task.

If you want to change the Service Delivery Unit in your request, you can choose to apply the changes to the Scopes and Tasks as well. Similarly, if you want to change the Service Delivery Unit in the Request Scope, you can choose to apply the changes to the Tasks as well.

Prerequisites

• The Request Work Task must be in the "New" status.

System Effects

After completing this activity,

• The Request Work Task's Service Delivery Unit will be updated.
• If the Service Delivery Unit has access groups, the Access Groups of the Request Work Task will be updated accordingly. Note that the existing Access Groups of the Request Work Task will remain unchanged.
