Create Standard Task

Explanation

This activity is used to create a Standard Task for the Standard Task Library. Predefined execution for Services can be defined using these Standard Tasks. The Standard Tasks can be used to create Work Tasks to execute on a Request.

A Standard Task contains:

• Work Steps
• Work Stage
• Activity Type
• Resource Demands including skills, competencies, and certificates
• Material/Part Demands

Prerequisites

• Work Stages should be defined in Work Stages to define a Work Stage for a Standard Task.
• Activity Types should be defined in Activity Types to define a Activity Type for a Standard Task.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, new a Standard Task will be added to the Standard Task Library.
