Create Supplier Evaluation Setup from Template

Explanation

Use this activity to generate a supplier performance evaluation setup from an evaluation template. You can initiate the setup creation immediately or schedule it as a one-time event or on a recurring basis.

If opting for direct setup creation, there are two methods generating the setup ID: automatic generation of the setup ID using the template's prefix combined with a system-generated sequence, or manual setup ID definition. If the setup creation is scheduled the ID will always be generated using the prefix.

In addition to this, provide a description, specify the evaluation period, and determine whether the setup should be automatically approved upon creation. If the setup creation is scheduled, instead of indicating an evaluation period you should determine a duration and an offset for the From Date. Then the From Date will be "today´s date - the offset" and the To Date will be the "from date + the duration".

You can decide if you want to include the suppliers from the template and you can also add or remove suppliers before finalizing the setup.

Prerequisites

• Supplier performance evaluation template should have been created.

System Effects

As the result of this activity

• A supplier performance evaluation setup will be created based on the template. The general information, KPI groups and their weighting as well as the suppliers will be copied to the setup according to your selection.
• If the Approve Setup setting is enabled, the setup will be instantly approved and evaluations per supplier will be created based on the setup.
