Use this activity to report additional faults discovered during the execution of an assignment. The fault report can be created from the Execute Work lobby page, Work Task page or from the Work Steps tab.
When creating a fault report, it's possible to provide information about the Object Site and Object ID. Alongside, it's mandatory to enter which Work Order Site and Maintenance Organization the fault should be assigned to, as general information. All of these values are auto-fetched for the user. A description of the fault can also be included.
You can specify how the fault was discovered by selecting a Discovery and Symptom in the fault. A Priority can be used to define the problem's urgency as well.
There is also an option to provide a more detailed description of the fault.
When you save the fault, a unique work order number is generated, and the work order's status will be Fault Report.
As a result of this activity an additional fault report is created and dispatched to the job owner.
