Enter Customer Contact
Explanation
This activity is used to enter the contact names and information related
to a customer on a support agreement. You can add the contacts that are defined
here to a case, by clicking Add Contact tab and selecting
Support Agreements Contacts in the opened associate page. However,
if the Support to Named Contacts Only is selected, a message will appear
if a contact who is not specified in the support agreement is connected to a
case. This indicates that only authorized contact persons are allowed to use
the support agreement.
Prerequisites
- A support agreement must have been created in the Support Agreement page.
- The value to be entered in the Contact Name field must have been
entered in IFS/Enterprise/Customer or should be a registered user for IFS
Applications.
System Effects
- Customer contacts will be defined for the support agreement and e-mail
messages regarding the case can be sent to the contact using this information.
- You can specify that only authorized contact persons are allowed to
use the support agreement.
