Define Salary Planning Groups
Explanation
This activity is used to group Companies so that the budget allocations can be made for the entire group and
distributed to the Companies in the group.
- While creating a group, you can select your desired Accounting Currency.
- Group can have many companies and the Companies can have different Accounting Currencies.
- The same Company can be added to multiple Salary Planning Groups.
If the Group Accounting Currency Rate is not added to the Currency Rate Type page (of the company) then the
company cannot be added to the group.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- Conversion Rate for Group Accounting Currency should be specified against the Company Currency in Currency
Rates page.
- Company created
- Currency Codes created
- Currency Rates created
System Effects
As a result of this activity groups are created. These groups will also be available on the Group Salary
Planning and Salary Review pages.
