Contact Search

Explanation

Use this activity to locate CRM contacts, update them, and create call or meeting activities. Below are several ways the Contact Search widget can be used.

• Searching a contact by name: Use the widget to search for a contact by entering the name. If no search has been applied, the contacts for which you recently created an activity will be listed.
• Updating the contact details: Use the widget to find the contact for which you want to update the details.
• Planning a meeting: Use the widget to create a business activity with activity type=meeting for the contact.
• Logging a call: Use the widget to create a business activity with activity type=call for the contact.

Prerequisites

The Contact should be included in the system.
