Modify Employee Base Salary

Explanation

Employee compensation records can be modified in two places in IFS Cloud: using the Compensation tab in Employee File and Employee Salary Information page.
When modifying a compensation record, select one compensation record from the list. Use Modify Compensation button and enter desired information in the dialog.

Any changes done to a Base Salary record with matching dependent compensation records, will be reflected in the matching dependent compensation records in fields including, but not limited to,

• Validity Period
• Amount

Prerequisites

• A base salary record should be created to view the Modify Employee Salary feature.
• Fields like Salary Period, Pay Frequency and Currency should be mandatorily filled.

System Effects

• The fields Change %, Change Amount and Change Full Time Amount will be updated with the modifications.
• The changes will be recorded in Compensation History.
