Cascading objectives allow a supervisor to distribute some of the objective/general performance targets that are assigned to the supervisor, to his/her respective subordinates. This functionality facilitates the organizational objectives to flow from the top all the way to the last node of the hierarchy. A supervisor can select an objective that is assigned for him/her and choose to cascade it to any employee the supervisor has access to.
The “Select Employees to cascade” activity fulfills the most basic expectation of “To whom are we cascading the objectives”, the cascade objective assistant facilitates the user to select employees with a few options.
My Performance Evaluation Details

Custom Employee Group : - Add employees manually
My Direct Reports : - Direct Reports of the user
My Accessible Employees : - All accessible employees of the user
Specific Organization Unit: - Filter employees according to a specific organization unit, the organization units listed will be limited to the organizational units the logged in user has access to.
Selection Template :- Use the Employee Selection Template to select employees, any pre-defined selection
template will be listed here.
Performance Evaluation Details
(When another user performs the cascade on behalf of a supervisor using performance evaluation details page)
Custom Employee Group : - Add employees manually
Direct Reports : - Direct Reports of the supervisor accessible to the logged in user.
Accessible Employees : - All accessible employees of the supervisor also accessible to the logged in user. (Common employees from both supervisors and logged in user’s accessible employee list)
Specific Organization Unit : - Filter employees according to a specific organization unit, the organization units listed will be limited to the organizational units the logged in user & Supervisor has access to.
