Define Mobile Work Order Integration
Explanation
This activity is used to define the integration between surveys (in IFS Human Resources) and mobile work
assignments (in IFS Mobile Work Order). A survey, also referred to as an eForm on the mobile device, will be made
available at one or more stages of the mobile work assignments flow based on your settings. Following is a list of
the stages in the work assignments flow where a survey can be triggered:
- Work assignment statuses - You can define the survey to be triggered when a work assignment is accepted, on
route, waiting at location, started, rejected, set on hold or set to pending completion.
- Work assignment completion process - You can define the survey to be triggered before completing the work
assignment, after completion or when work assignment is incomplete.
- Work assignment- The Work Assignment stage can be used for work assignment specific surveys that are
not linked to an event, but can be answered at any time. These surveys are available under the list of work
actions on your Mobile device.
- Creating new work - you can define survey to start when new work (New Work Order or New Task) is defined in
mobile client
- Employee - The Employee stage can be used for surveys that are not directly linked to an event, but
can be answered at any time. These surveys will be connected to your employee and available on the eForm screen
on your Mobile device.
- Object - The Object Information stage can be used for surveys that are not directly linked
to an event, but can be answered at any time. These surveys will be connected to object and available from Object
Actions screen on your Mobile device.
- Child Survey - The Child Survey stage can be used for surveys that are not directly linked to an event
but can be answered as a child survey which will be triggered together with its parent survey.
Once the details are registered in WO Integrations, the survey will be transferred to the
relevant mobile device during synchronization. Note: surveys are transferred to the mobile device of all
participants as part of a batch sync.
Note:
- If you want the Introduction text and the ending text to be appear in mobile device, select Show
Introduction and Show Ending Text options.
- If you want the survey to be answered from the beginning, when answering again, select Always Start as
New option.
- If you want the survey to be answered once, select Answer Once option.
- If you want the survey to be answered partly and complete the rest later, select Temp. Save

the survey, select Auto Save option.

object.
Prerequisites
- The survey should be set up with relevant information.
- Work order related data that is to be connected to the survey should be defined. For instance, equipment
objects, maintenance organization, maintenance priority etc.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, the survey is integrated with a certain stage of the mobile work order flow and
can be published to the mobile device.
