Create Work Task Plan
Explanation
Use this activity to create work task plans in order to complete installation, test and commissioning.
Prerequisites
For a work task to be created, the following should have been done:
- Project deliverable should have been defined with a project activity.
- Item cost/hours should have been calculated and schedule has been generated to get the correct quantities and
dates.
The following enables work tasks to be copied from a work task template:
- A work task template must have been created in Service and Maintenance.
- A work task template connection must have been created in Project Deliverables and connected
to a Technical Class or Asset Design Class depending on the COPY_TO_MAINTANANCE property
value.
- If object property COPY_TO_MAINTANANCE is set to NO, a value for class must
have been entered on project deliverable item.
- If object property COPY_TO_MAINTANANCE is set to YES, a value for technical
class must have been attached to a project deliverable item.
System Effects
Part information on project deliverable item and where a corresponding inventory part exist, is automatically
added as material on work task plan.
