Remove Spend Analysis Transactions
Explanation
Use this activity to remove generated spend analysis transactions for a certain analysis id. This could be used
if you want to remove all transactions to be able to also remove the analysis id, or if you want to remove old data
that you do not need to include in the analysis anymore, or remove the latest transactions to be able to re-run the
job for the latest period of time.
Prerequisites
- The spend analysis transactions must have been generated.
System Effects
- If you choose to remove all transactions, all generated spend lines for the analysis id will be removed and
the Latest to Date will cleared.
- If you choose to remove transactions before a certain date, all old spend lines generated for the analysis id
before that date will be removed and the Original Start Date will be set to the date
specified.
- If you choose to remove transactions after a certain date, all new spend lines generated for the analysis id
after that date will be removed and the Latest to Date will be set to the date specified.
Note that the date that is used on the spend lines is the posted date, which corresponds to when an invoice is
posted.
