Link Absence Types to Display Groups
Explanation
This activity is used to connect relevant absence types to display groups. When an employee registers an absence
belonging to the display group, it will be displayed on the calendar. Remember that a single display group can be
divided up to 3 times based on this activity.
Note : Absence type settings allow for a very flexible configuration. To give examples of different
configurations:
- You can create a single display group, select absence types and divide them into 3 layers of the same color
(most common).
- You can create 3 displays groups, register the same absence types but give them different colors depending on
their state
- You can create 3 display groups, fill them with different absence types, and keep each display group in a
different State column.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity:
- Display groups have to be registered for the calendar template
- Absence types have to be defined in the system
System Effects
As a result of this activity, sets of absence types will be assigned to display groups.
