Enter Preposting, Component Repair Order
Explanation
To enter prepostings on a component repair order, click Pre Posting.
Prerequisites
- Preposting must be allowed for component repair orders by adding the M211 posting type, Pre posting
Component Repair Order Header on the Posting Control page.
- The component repair order must have been created and saved.
System Effects
- The system establishes a relationship between the code part and the component repair order, by entering a
preposting connected to the component repair order.
- The code part values that you enter as a preposting for the component repair order will be transferred to any
of the component repair order lines created thereafter and subsequently these code part values will be
transferred to the repair orders once the CRO repair is released.
